The movements in Diane Hart's Pilates class are designed to align, lengthen and strengthen your body. You will improve your balance, flexibility, core strength and muscle tone. The fundamentals and principles of the classical Pilates method of exercise will be introduced and each student will learn the proper form and execution of all exercises. This class is perfect for those who are new to Pilates or for individuals looking to refine the basics.
Each class will include a stress reduction component and relaxation technique. Participants are asked to wear comfortable clothing and supportive sneakers, as well as bring one- to two-pound hand weights, a mat and water.
This Pilates class would also be perfect for an onsite fitness class for employees/employers at a business.
